2. Terms of Use & Service Agreement

2.1 Service Provider

Charikleia (Lilika) Vergi, operating as a sole trader under the trading name Lilika Vergi – Counselling & Psychotherapy, Agias Varvaras 57, Patras 265 04, Greece. Email: [email to be completed].

2.2 Nature of the Service

The services provided consist of integrative mental health counselling, including individual online sessions (45 minutes) and, where available, in-person sessions in Patras.

Important Limitation

The services offered are COUNSELLING, not medical or psychiatric treatment. They do not constitute diagnosis, prescription or psychiatric care, and are not a substitute for emergency mental health services. In the event of a psychiatric emergency, please contact emergency services (166) or the nearest hospital immediately.

2.3 Eligibility

Services are offered to adults aged 18 and over. Clients must have stable internet access and a private, confidential space available for online sessions.

2.4 Booking & First Session

Appointments are booked via SimplyBook.me or by direct contact. A free initial diagnostic session is offered to assess whether working together is appropriate and to answer any questions prior to committing to ongoing sessions.

2.5 Fees & Payment

Session fees are available upon enquiry. Payment is made in advance, via Revolut Pro, prior to each session.

Issuing of receipts: provided upon request in accordance with applicable Greek tax law.

2.6 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, will be charged in full.

In the event of a technical issue (e.g., power cut or major connectivity problem), the session will be rescheduled at no charge.

2.7 Confidentiality

All information shared within the therapeutic relationship is strictly confidential. Exceptions are limited to situations involving immediate risk to life or legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy (Section 1.6).

2.8 Limits of Online Counselling

• Online counselling is not suitable for all situations; in some cases in-person support may be recommended

• If you are in an acute psychiatric crisis, please seek immediate specialist help

• The counsellor reserves the right to suspend or terminate sessions where the client's safety or the suitability of online work is in question

2.9 Recording Sessions

Sessions are NOT automatically recorded. Any recording requires separate written consent from both parties. Unauthorised recording by either party is not permitted.

2.10 Intellectual Property

All content on lilikavergi.com (texts, images, structure) is the intellectual property of Chariklia Vergi and is protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution or use without written permission is prohibited.

2.11 Termination of the Therapeutic Relationship

Either party may end the therapeutic relationship at any time. The counsellor is committed to providing adequate notice and, where appropriate, referral to another professional. The client may terminate at any time without obligation.

2.12 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Patras, Greece.

2.13 Amendments

These Terms may be updated at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes prior to their next session.
