Individual Counselling

Every person has their own story. Here you'll find the space that fits you.

Individual Counselling

A space only for you. No judgement, no pressure — only the process you need.

What is individual counselling

Individual counselling is a structured, confidential process in which we work together to understand what is troubling you, to explore the patterns influencing your daily life, and to find workable choices that fit your own story.

It is not guidance, nor advice. It is a collaborative process — you bring your experience, I bring clinical training and a safe framework. We work together.

Every session is tailored to your needs. There are no ready-made protocols — only your own pace and your own story.

Do you recognise any of these?

• You sense that something isn't right, but you can't quite name it
• You find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships or situations
• You feel exhausted — emotionally, mentally, physically — without apparent cause
• You struggle to trust yourself or others
• You feel your reactions are 'over the top' — but you can't seem to control them
• You want to understand why certain experiences affect you so deeply
• You feel unheard — or that you don't deserve to be heard

If any of this resonates — that is enough to begin.

My approach

I use an integrative synthetic approach, drawing on:

Narrative Therapy — Re-examining your story through new eyes
Dialogical Approach — Change is born through genuine connection
Relational Therapy — Focusing on patterns that shape your relationships
Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — Recognising and changing limiting thoughts and behaviours
Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) — Improving communication with those closest to you
Trauma-Focused Therapy — Working safely through experiences that left deep marks
Family Therapy — Supporting the family system through difficulty and change

I don't apply ready-made models. I work with structure, clinical judgement, and genuine presence — with respect for your pace.

FAQ

How do I know if counselling is right for me?
If you sense that something is weighing on you — in relationships, in daily life, in your relationship with yourself — and you'd like a space to explore it, counselling can help. You don't need to have a 'serious enough' problem.

What if I don't know where to start?
That's exactly what the free diagnostic session is for. You don't need to have ready answers — you only need to be there.

Can I stop the sessions whenever I choose?
Yes. There is no obligation. The process continues for as long as you choose.

How many sessions are needed?
There is no fixed number. It depends on your history, your goals, and your pace. We begin with the free diagnostic session and from there we map the path together.

Are the sessions confidential?
Yes — fully. Everything discussed in a session remains strictly confidential, within the framework of the ethical code of the Hellenic Counselling Association.

How do I know if what I'm experiencing is relational trauma?
Counselling tends to focus on specific present-day difficulties, while psychotherapy explores deeper patterns and history. In practice, the two approaches frequently overlap — and you are the one who guides the direction
